Tomi Trbovc leads the PR & Communications at the largest Slovenian sports association for the past 14 years. Ski Association of Slovenia is the most successful sports association in the region. He has started his career in Planica, the largest Slovenian sports event, and has been a part of the core organization team since then.
The scoop of his responsibilities has also been the coordination of the candidacies for the FIS Nordic Ski Championships in the past years. The last one in 2018 was successful, and Slovenia will be the host of the largest sports event in its history in Planica 2023. He closely works with top Slovenian and international winter sports athletes in all areas of communication and education of the young athletes, who set their first steps in the world of sports. He is also a member of the PR and Mass Media committee within the International Ski Federation (FIS).
From 2017 he is the Director of PRO UTS Ltd, a family owned business, which consults in the area of public relations, communication and crisis management. He also consults one of the top former athletes in Cross country skiing Petra Majdič on her motivational courses. He is the recipient of the 2019 PRO PR Award.
